National Poetry Day is a UK-wide celebration of poetry, which took place on 6th October 2022.

The day is used to celebrate all that is unique and special about poetry, and is our October book/reading event. 

The staff shared their favourite poems with the children and all learnt to recite a poem that linked to their class topic.  These were performed for each other.
